I always like to see if I can actually find a fare they advertise and there are some great destinations.
If you were thinking about a trip to Disneyland/Orange county area or even San Diego, I was able to verify $69 rates each way. Although for better flight times you had to go up to $77 each way, which is still a great deal. It appears as most of the lower rates with SWA include a stop which I never enjoy especially if traveling with kids.
San Diego is $220 round trip or you could just take the $154 into LA area and drive down the coast for a beautiful trip.
Those are the rates that drew my attention the most. Chicago at $188 each ay is not a great deal to me. I paid $200 I think for my one way from Chicago this summer on another carrier for better flight times.
Make sure you check other airlines too. I was able to get the same prices on Alaska Air as well and they had more non stops to the areas like Orange County.
