It seems like more and more there is less staff on. What used to be pulling up and being greeted and ushered off to the shuttle has turned into pull up and get out and look for someone to give your keys to. I have started to use the self-park option for this reason, but used valet this time since it was a short trip and I had points to use. Everyone was friendly though and I was whisked off quickly on the shuttle.
Their reservation system is a mess. I made a reservation this time since I almost missed out last trip.
Here are the issues. I tried to use my AAA discount which is a great perk but it wouldn’t accept it but I went through with reservation anyway. You can’t make a reservation without giving your credit card info which will automatically charge you as it is considered pre-paid. So, if you are using any discounts or groupon you can’t make a reservation without having to hassle with it after the trip. So, when you get back the person at the counter can refund you and re charge you the correct amount no problem. She was very friendly and did a great job with it, it’s just time consuming for you and the only person working the counter. In addition to make a reservation is time consuming and not customer friendly. Its 2016, there should be an easier way. I know they are supposedly working on an app to do all this I think, but in the meantime, be warned.
These days though, I always look for the best lower cost option that is valet type parking where as before I just used them automatically. I used to like when they had local marketing people too but I think they have gone more corporate over the last few years. Now if you contact them you just get dry automated responses that make little sense at times.
Again, everyone has always been friendly here and Wally park has nice discount options (AAA, Points program, and Groupon) so they are a good option that is close to the airport.
