This was a big trip for me. I have been to Vegas plenty of times, but this time I was going to get to watch my Zags in person. It’s a tough ticket to see them in Spokane so I had been trying to get down in March to see them for years as they play the WCC tournament.
I have always used StubHub when I needed tickets, it’s the Cadillac of ticket services. I don’t recall reading about many failures even during the great ticket raid of the Seahawks Super Bowl in 2014.
I needed tickets and for some reason I searched all the different sites and for some reason settled on Razorgator. All the sites had similar ones but I had seen some club seats and then I got focused on sitting in the club section. Bad decision.
There’s not a bad seat in that arena but I had never been there and so I went with Razorgator. 100% guarantee, right? What does that really mean with a ticket company? It means you get your money back, that’s it. Well, its 2017 so I can pay with a credit card and get that. So basically, you get screwed over otherwise.
On a side note I think you probably could use another company not named StubHub but why risk. I saw a company name Tix city was on site at the arena as well as StubHub so it just depends. But no thanks, not anymore.
Everything seemed fine. I got lots of emails, even a confirmation on the day of the game at 2pm. It said your tickets are at the venue. Pick them up at will call…seems easy, right?
This company Razorgator closes at 5 PM so when you get to the venue and your tickets aren’t at will call, you are screwed. I waited for over an hour and kept going up to will call assuming there must be a mistake. The game started and I wasn’t there. So much for 100% guarantee. I tried twitter, Facebook messaging, email, everything. Eventually I got a Facebook message back much later. That was it, not sure I ever even got a sorry? No phone call, no apology email, just a refund.
Well you can give me my money back but can you make up for the stress I went through and missing a game and traveling 1000 miles to see them? I think they could have tried. Maybe free tickets to the next night’s game or hey are you in town what game or event can we give you tickets to? Hell even half off my next purchase anything. First impressions are huge in any business and yours was felt.
Nope, nothing, basically a F U from this crappy ticket company taking advantage of me the consumer. So now I tell the world and hope just 1 person won’t use your company!
